We also remember their families, friends, and colleagues who are forever impacted by these tragedies.

In 2024, 14 workers in New Brunswick lost their lives, with hundreds more injured in workplace accidents. In Ontario, 254 workers died due to workplace incidents, emphasizing the critical need for improved safety standards.

As we reflect on these losses, it’s a stark reminder that electrical safety is crucial. Electrical Hazards are a leading cause of workplace injuries and fatalities.

Let us all commit to creating safer workplaces for every worker, ensuring that no one has to risk their life or well-being for a job. On this Day of Mourning, we reaffirm our dedication to preventing accidents and protecting lives through innovative safety solutions.

Take a moment of silence at 11:00 a.m. to honor those we’ve lost and remember that safety must always come first.
